Parent Support Specialist. Provides counseling to parents to determine child care eligibility and provide resource and referral services. Minimum of two years experience in programs serving low income families or related experience.

High School Diploma or equivalent; 2-year degree preferred.

Programs Monitoring & Compliance Specialist. Under the direction of the SR/VPK Compliance and Assessment Manager, the Programs Monitoring & Compliance Specialist is responsible for assisting with the School Readiness (SR) and Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) contract eligibility and revision processes as well as ensuring compliance of the contract requirements through monitoring and Program Assessment processes. The Programs Monitoring & Compliance Specialist is also responsible for the facilitation of quality enhancement initiatives for SR an VPK providers contracted with Early Learning Coalition of Alachua County (ELCAC). This is accomplished through technical assistance during onsite visits, developing relationships with providers, and promoting ELCAC & Division of Early Learning (DEL) quality initiatives. The Programs Monitoring & Compliance Specialist will support providers through the process of the DEL requirement of Program Assessment and any improvement plans required.

A Child Development Associate’s Certification (CDA) and/or Two-year degree required.

Eligibility/R&R Community Specialist. Performs outreach to community and local partners. Provides resource and referral information to families upon request. Knowledgeable of eligibility process & procedures for backup support. Computer skills required to include word processing, email, and data management; demonstrates ability to express ideas clearly in both written and verbal communications; excellent organizational skills.
