Community Outreach Coordinator

Promote awareness of ELC in community through participation in community events, community partnerships, and seek additional funding opportunities. Minimum of two years' experience, preferably in a non-profit organization. Strong presentation, writing, and communication skills. Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel; strong skills in PowerPoint and web page maintenance preferred.

2-year degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred in marketing or related field.

SR/VPK Monitoring & Compliance Specialist

Under the direction of the SR/VPK Compliance Manager, the SR/VPK Monitoring & Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance with the School Readiness (SR) and Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) contracts. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, SR/VPK Monitoring, tracking for Health and Safety compliance and assistance in the Quality Performance System. The SR/VPK Monitoring & Compliance Specialist is also responsible for assistance in determining eligibility of new and renewing child care providers to offer certain state programs as well as processing and tracking information changes for contracted child care providers.

A minimum of two (2) years of professional work experience with young children.
High school diploma or equivalent; 2-year degree preferred.

Quality Support Specialist

The Quality Support Specialist is primarily responsible for the facilitation of quality enhancement initiatives for School Readiness (SR) and Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) Providers in Alachua County. This is accomplished through onsite visits, developing relationships with providers, facilitating trainings, and promoting Early Learning Coalition of Alachua County (ELCAC) & Division of Early Learning (DEL) quality initiatives. The individual in this position collaborates with contracted SR & VPK providers and ELCAC staff to plan, coordinate and manage a variety of activities to support quality programs in the community.

Minimum two (2) years’ experience in the field or a related area. Child Development Associate’s Certification (CDA) and/or Two-year degree required.
