Intake Specialist
Acts as the initial contact person for external clients. Performs routine clerical support for the Parent Support and Resources & Referral staff. Demonstrated skills in excellent client service and best practices in serving clients in an appropriate way. Excellent communication skills both in writing and verbal. Ability to handle phone calls and walk-in clients simultaneously.

High School Diploma or equivalent; 2-year degree strongly preferred.

Parent Support Specialist
Provides counseling to parents to determine childcare eligibility and resource and referral services. Two or more years of experience in programs servicing low-income families or related experience. Counseling and/or parent involvement strongly preferred. Demonstrates knowledge of childcare standards and child abuse reporting; various programs that provide financial assistance for early learning; skills, knowledge, and ability with internal and external policies and procedures; Standard Levels of Service.

High School Diploma or equivalent.

All families receiving Child Care Resource and Referral, School Readiness (SR) or Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) services will be contacted to complete a voluntary survey to gage your customer service experience with our office. All responses are anonymous and confidential and will not affect your services. In addition, all contracted SR and VPK providers will be contacted to complete a voluntary confidential survey.
